Duda Solar Water Heater: Duda Solar Water Heater Collectors

are
the most efficient solar collectors on the market. The evacuated tubes retain heat much better than flat panel collectors and therefore can work much more efficiently in cold climates. They also have a unique capability of obtaining higher efficiencies while the sun is at an angle in the east or west through passive tracking in the tubes. SRCC Certified and eligible for the 30% Federal Tax Rebate. May also be used with Duda Solar Aluminum Reflectors.👍👍👍

Just found this one. The price looks quite reasonable:

I ask because my dwelling place is a manufactured home I own (since the year 2000) in Vermont. I stopped using the kerosene powered furnace over a decade ago and went all electric because of climate change concerns. I have used electric space heaters for the winter ever since. I have, since I bought the home, used a single small window A/C (going for three years now on my third unit as each previous one failed 😕) for the summer.
A window heat pump, provided it does not cost more than a thousand bucks or so, would save me a lot of money on my electrical energy use bill, mostly in winter, but also in summer. GMP (Green Mountain Power), my utility, has a plan to RENT 🤦♂️ Vermont home owners "natural" (LOL!) gas powered heat pump water heaters, complete with "routine" MAINTENACE costs contract (SEE: Repeat bidness
SCAM business model), but that is not available for manufactured homes.
At any rate I am not interested in anything that burns🦕☠️ hydrocarbons, period, never mind the rather high cost GMP wants to charge to "help me 🙄 go green".
The fact is I stopped using a water heater when mine failed about 7 years ago. Yeah, cold water showers in Vermont ain't fun, but it is my way of being a good steward of God's Earth and saves me some money on electricity too. What say ye? 🤠
